About Your Realtor

I grew up in Southwest Texas in a small hill country town named Uvalde. When I was 21 I joined the Army and served my country as a Combat Medic. I was stationed in Schweinfurt, Germany before serving in Desert Storm as a medic during Operation Provide Comfort, and for the US forces in the 2nd Armored Division, then was stationed in Columbus, Georgia before finally making my way to Alaska in 1996. The memories of my time in the military have stayed with me, and molded me into the person I am today.

Once in Anchorage I used my GI Bill to attend the University of Alaska and received a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a minor in Business. Soon after I bought my first multifamily investment property. At some point while fixing it up and renting it out I got bit by the real estate bug! I obtained my real estate license and bought a few more investment properties not long after that. I worked as a Realtor in Eagle River for a few years and then in 2002, earned my Broker's License and established Eagle River Realty. I am still an avid real estate investor with numerous properties in Anchorage & Eagle River and have always found real estate to be a fantastic and extremely rewarding business!

I have an amazing family. My husband, Mike, was born and raised in Alaska and owns a heavy equipment company in Anchorage. l have two wonderful step kids, Jessica who is 26, married and lives in Wasilla, and Jake, 21, who is graduating this summer from Washington State where he is president of his fraternity. Together my husband and I have a daughter, Allie, who is 9, and goes to elementary school in Eagle River, and a son Wyatt, who is now 2. We also gladly share our home with Winston, our English Bulldog, and Sadie, our Golden Retriever. In my free time I like to read, hike, and do anything outdoors with my family.
